Captain has been at HorsePower since 2017, and now helps out primarily with our therapeutic riding program. He loves his clients, and enjoys spending time with them during his lessons. Captain is a phenomenal pony who knows how to do a great job, and could probably run the whole program by himself! One of his favorite ways to bargain for treats is to smile, which usually results in his coworkers and volunteers being impressed and giving him a snack. As Captain has gotten older, his eyesight has gotten worse, so be sure to talk to him if you are going to brush him or give him a pet. Although Captain enjoys getting attention from his clients, he doesn’t love being cuddled or touched by his volunteers, especially around his neck and face. Captain is proudly sponsored by Culver’s!
