Program Coordinator

Estimated Hours:

§ Full-time, occasional evenings

 

Required Qualifications:

· Four year or associates degree preferred

· Highly motivated, confident, energetic, and positive attitude

· Strong organizational skills

· Strong people skills

· Horse experience (preferred)

· Understanding of booking-keeping and general accounting

§ Computer skills required include but are not limited to Microsoft Office products, QuickBooks, and social media platforms

 

Responsibilities Include:

· Assist instructors in planning lesson activities for all clients that address unique learning needs

· Promote volunteering (internally and externally) through recruitment and publicity strategies and campaigns

· Manage volunteer recruiting, training, schedules, and activity (monitor, support, motivate and accredit volunteers and their work)

· Manage daily assignments of clients, volunteers, and horses

· Manage general office activities, including social media

· Assist the Executive Director with community events to educate the population about Horsepower

· Maintain database of clients, volunteers, and donors

· Work with HorsePower staff and therapists on scheduling clients for sessions

· Oversee care of horses

· Oversee care of office and lounge

· Other duties assigned by Executive Director
