Sierra Post, Therapeutic Riding Instructor
Hi, I’m Sierra! I grew up in Astoria, OR and moved to South Dakota after marrying my husband, Ethan. As a child I spent every opportunity I had to hang out with horses, whether that was riding in a small town parade, or trying to make halters out of bailing twine for my grandma’s horse. After moving here I needed to get my “horse fix” and I found HorsePower, to which snowballed into me spending most of my days at the barn. This past summer I helped out as the second Therapeutic Riding Instructor. I grew to care for not only our beloved horses but the clients and volunteers. Watching the clients progress is truly amazing and I’m so glad that I get to play a part in their growth.
